One of the most recent marketing activities is a Discord Population Achievement Event. The rules are simple:
500 people = 50U, draw 10 people, 5U ea.
1,000 people = 100U, draw 20 people, 5U ea.
2,000 people = 200U, draw 40 people, 5U ea.
5,000 people = 300U, draw 60 people, 5U ea.
10,000 people = 500U, draw 100 people, 5U ea.
Setup
We are providing a lot of different kinds of giveaways from time to time with different difficulties and requirements, for different purposes too. These purposes can be community growth, increasing impression, enhancing engagement etc.
Despite some basic rules still applied to prevent anti-competitive conduct, the only real prerequisite to participating in it is being existed in the IDV server.

Objective and Justification
While some might question why doing a pure giveaway without any input from users, and wouldn’t that be a complete waste?
The answer is self-identity.
This particular activity is on the relatively lower side of the barrier and aims to allow Ideaverist to be included, Even if they are not participating a lot. Unlike many marketing events are personal-achievement-based, the “Discord Population Achievement Event” is community-achievement-based. We wanted everyone to have a chance to taste the fun of getting a real reward.

Furthermore
The community-achievement-based event is like the backbone and is the minimum of what Ideaverist will get. There are other campaigns in the community to serve the said other purposes.
Those who participate and engage more will get more, those less will get less. It is a fair game. When more campaigns are coming out serving different angles and purposes, the whole community marketing strategies will become more “3D”, with more “layers”, and be more inclusive.
